Bike Rentals – There are lots of bike paths to explore in the Destin area. Pedaling is also a great way to get from place to place! You can rent from Bikes R Us – they will deliver and pick up at your vacation home! It’s a good idea to reserve in advance, since they book up fast. 850-837-6347 or 850-502-6697. There’s also a bike rental place next to Camille’s at 2931 Scenic Hwy 98, corner of Scenic Hwy 98 and Hutchinson.

Water Sports – The Emerald Coast is a great place for all kinds of water sports!

  • Stand-up Paddling – It’s a lot of fun, whether it’s your first time, or you are ready for new adventures on the board! Here are a couple of local companies to consider:
  • Wave Runners, Jet Ski, etc. – There are several rental companies in Destin. You can check online for pricing and reservations. Many of our guests have rented from a vendor right here in Crystal Beach; they are located near the Tarpon Street beach access.



Uncle Buck’s Fish Bowl & Grill (in Destin Commons) They have 16 lanes of bowling offering a truly unique underwater bowling experience! Custom bowling balls, murals and fish hanging from the ceiling make this a fun place for the family. There’s also a billiards parlor, island themed bar and a casual family dining area.

Deepsea Fishing is great in Destin.  If the guys (and girls too) like deep sea fishing…this is a “must” for them. We suggest going to the dock at HarborWalk Village and just talking to the fishermen there.



Golf – If you’re a serious golfer, you already know about all of the incredible courses in the Destin area. However, if you’d simply like to get out for a relaxing round with friends or family, you’ll enjoy The Golf Garden. In addition to a fun 18-hole course, they have a driving range and an 18-hole putting course. They also rent clubs and carts.

Sandestin’s Baytowne Wharf. Baytowne Wharf is a very quaint walking village that has a marina, shops and restaurants. They also have free Wednesday night concerts in the park. The marina has one of the best sunsets in Destin.   To get there, head east on 98. Once you pass Silver Sands Outlet Mall, it will be the first left. Turn left into the gate and tell the guards you are going to Baytowne Wharf.
