Stewby’s Seafood Shanty a small take out and drive thru seafood restaurant in Fort Walton Beach. All of their seafood is fresh and locally bought. The fish comes straight of the boats in Destin. Their sauces and sides are all made from scratch.

The Agean Greek Restaurant in Miramar Beach is known as one of the best breakfast spots in the Destin area!

The Back Porch Seafood & Oyster House is another local favorite. It’s a great place for families and friends to get together and enjoy great seafood and one of the best views in Destin.

Boshamps Seafood and Oyster House, located on the beautiful Destin harbor, will spoil you with spectacular sunsets, sensational “Gulf to Table Southern Cuisine”, and family-friendly service all in a fun, relaxed casual atmosphere.

The Beachwalk Café at Henderson Park Inn is considered the finest restaurant in Destin (no children under 13 yrs allowed). They can also do private dining on the beach for you.

Callahan’s Restaurant & Deli is a great local family restaurant where everything is made from scratch. If you go, you must try the stuffed pepper soup! They also feature terrific cakes and other desserts – the key lime cake is wonderful! You can call for daily soups and specials or find them on Facebook.

Camille’s – This is a great, local restaurant located at the end of Hutchinson & Scenic Gulf Drive. Upstairs is only open for dinner, but their beach bar/coffee shop downstairs is open from 7:00am-10:00pm. They have great fresh seafood and sushi. The menu changes daily.

Chef Jekyll – If you want to celebrate a special occasion, or would just rather spend an evening in and don’t want to cook, you might want to contact Chef Jekyll. His services include private dinners for 2-20 guests, cooking demonstrations and even full vacation meal services. Several of our guests have recommended him.
Cuvee Bistro. This place is a must visit for happy hour! They have ½ priced bar foods and amazing drink specials. Everything on the bar menu is awesome! Our favorites include their flatbread pizzas, sliders and Caesar salad.

Dewey Destin Seafood is one of the oldest restaurants in the Destin area. We highly recommend the original location on the bay. They are known for their stuffed shrimp, the fresh catch, and the smoked tuna dip is great!

The Donut Hole is a Destin landmark for breakfast or lunch. You must be sure to eat at least once at this iconic restaurant! O’Quigley’s Seafood Steamer & Oyster Sports Bar. They have a wide selection of local and imported draught beers and an incredible menu selection from blackened grouper, to wings to hand cut ribeye steaks. It’s one of our favorite local places to dine and hang out. They have 64 TVs, so it’s a great place to meet your friends to watch a game. You’ll want to check their website for great dinner specials! They are located on the south side of Emerald Coast Parkway (Hwy 98), across from Bass Pro Shop.

Pompano Joe’s Seafood House. It’s known for the best beachfront dining atmosphere in Destin. They also have the best pina coladas in town and all of their food is pretty good. It’s one of the few restaurants in Destin that is directly on the water. It gets super-crowded for dinner in the summer (sometimes a 2-3 hour wait) so lunch or an early dinner are good options.

Tucker Duke’s Lunchbox is a southern lunch counter like no other! They are known for their awesome burgers and southern comfort food made with local, seasonal, sustainable ingredients. It’s worth the drive from Destin, but if you’re going to or from the Fort Walton Beach (VPS) Airport…it’s not far out of your way at all.

Tuscany Italian Bistro. If you’re in the mood for Italian, Tuscany is awesome! It’s very authentic fresh Italian. We highly recommend the veal parmesan; they make it the authentic Italian way over a bed of pasta covered with fresh tomatoes. Also if you are looking for a good place for dessert and coffee, they have wonderful desserts.
