Massive Snowfall & It’s Still Coming Down!

I received an email from Loveland Resort and wanted to share the information with you!

The snow gods sure have been smiling upon Loveland recently.  Since January 27th, 42.5 inches of snow have fallen on Loveland; that’s over 3 feet!  What’s even more amazing?  It’s still falling and there seems to be no end in sight!  The forecast is calling for up to another foot before the weekend.  Conditions have been the best of the season for over a week straight and they are still getting better by the day.  Don’t miss a weekend of what’s sure to be some great skiing and riding at Loveland.

Loveland Ski Area opens Thursday, Oct 17, 2013!

The news you’ve been waiting for…Loveland Ski Area will open for the 2013-2014 season on Thursday, October 17.

Chair 1 will start at 9:00am and will provide skiers and riders with access to one top-to-bottom run. The trails Catwalk, Mambo and Home Run make up this Opening Day run which is over a mile long and nearly 1,000 vertical feet.

Our snowmakers have done a tremendous job getting the mountain ready for opening day and Mother Nature has been helped a ton with a lot of early season snow! Get your skis & snowboards ready, the LUV is about to open! — at Loveland Ski Area.

Arapahoe Basin to open ski season Sunday

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area said Friday it will open for the 2013/14 ski season on Sunday, Oct. 13.

The opening date is four days earlier than last season.
